East Hills Council of Neighbors (EHCN) is seeking a qualified and energetic candidate to fill the Executive Director position starting June 1. The Director will work with the Board of Directors, volunteers, and vested groups to develop and implement effective outreach strategies that engage residents in building a strong and inclusive neighborhood, prevent crime, and develop grassroots leadership opportunities. EHCN is a dynamic, community-based organization working to attract re-investment in the East Hills neighborhood, while building community leaders and advocating for a thriving, walkable community.

The Girls on the Run (GOTR) Executive Director must possess a passion for and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of girls in third through eighth grades in Kent and Muskegon counties. The GOTR program provides a safe and interactive way to learn about healthy living that includes an introduction and education on important topics such as goal-setting, cooperation, healthy decision-making and self-respect while training for a 5K event. The innovative curriculum teaches girls to listen and open up while also encouraging them to commit to a healthy lifestyle and harness their inner strength. Our important mission is accomplished by giving girls the tools to make positive choices for a healthy body and mind while reducing the many risks they face today.
The Kairos Fellowship is designed to build the next generation of leaders in the field of civic tech, digital campaigning, and online organizing. Through the Fellowship, we invest in leaders, now and for the long term, with training, mentorship, and strategic support. It is Kairos Fellows and alumni who will create new tech tools and change how we organize to build long-term winning power.
Significant strides have been made in the past two decades in the medical treatment and care of HIV. The end of the epidemic can be seen with the advent of PrEP, and U = U. However, significant stigma remains and there is extremely disproportionate access to these service among different demographic groups creating health disparities. This project seeks to manage and improve prevention services at Red Project, including integrated rapid HIV and hepatitis C testing in our 7 county region, PrEP navigation and access, targeted outreach in communities of color and among men who have sex with men and people who inject drugs, and early access to care and case management.
Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is a legal resource center for immigrant communities across Michigan with offices in Ypsilanti, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo. This position will be based in our Ypsilanti or Kalamazoo offices. MIRC works to build a thriving Michigan where immigrant communities experience equity and belonging. The National Redistricting Action Fund, an affiliate of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee seeks a Michigan State Director to implement the All On The Line campaign. The Michigan State Director will create and execute a statewide plan to support All On The Line’s mission to raise awareness about the harmful impact gerrymandering has on policymaking, encourage participation in activities that defend democratic ideals, and increase grassroots engagement in every step of the redistricting process. State Directors will manage in-state political relationships and serve as the public face of the organization in the state to promote coordination and collaboration with state partners. The State Director will also provide direction, guidance and support on the training and tactics utilized in pursuit of achieving fair maps.
